Two KEYS Independent Study Students were honored recently. In recognizing Joelle, the Chamber noted that she was failing several classes when she began high school, but after starting with Springs “she worked hard to catch up on her credits and then she began to reach out and encourage other students who struggle in school like she did.” She is now a straight-A student who plans to go to college and become a veterinarian technician. |

Aalima attends Riverside Community College through concurrent enrollment and is in the Honors Program through the college. She won a scholarship and will be a featured presenter at the Riverside Community College Honors Conference. |
