Rancho Cucamonga Personalized Learning Center offers dynamic programs for K-8 students. The Rancho center includes a Discovery Col-LAB-orative for K-8 students. All students receive a Chromebook as part of the hybrid model ensuring easy access to online courses, programs, and resources. We make connecting easy!
- Discovery Col-LAB-orative for K-8 students is a hybrid flexible learning program providing structured classroom activities three days a week along with two home study days. Discovery Col-LAB-orative meets on a multi-age campus where students actively participate with the community of learners. Personalized home study days are designed by the lab Education Specialist in collaboration with the parent and student. Parents, ESes and students meet monthly to create and review student goals in order to ensure that students are on the road to individual growth and success.
- The Discovery Col-LAB-orative program will provide a cross-grade-level thematic curriculum with an emphasis on personalized I CAN! Mastery and student discovery.
- Students become part of the learning center community by participating in multi-age campus activities such as after-school clubs, sports, and excursions, or by exploring a special interest with their peers on a home discovery day. Parents are a big part of our community and are encouraged to be on-site volunteering and building relationships with fellow parents.

Name: Isabella Cantu Age: 17 Grade: 12 I chose: Rancho Cucamonga Why? To enjoy the interaction with my teacher and other students while being Homeschooled. Isabella says: “Ms. Ryder is a really funny teacher, I like when she explains stuff. She breaks it down into real life situations that make it easy to understand.” Isabella is studying Japanese so that when she visits her host family in Japan she’ll be able to communicate with them and others. Her advice to new students is to explore their interests, find what makes them happy and pursue it, always set aside time to do the things you love and, you’re only young once so enjoy it to the best of your ability! |
