I graduated from Mount San Jacinto College with a AS in Fire Science. I graduated from Cal State San Bernardino with a BA in Communications, as well as, graduating with a Master of Art in Teaching from the University of Oregon. I have 7 years as a private school teacher and 3 years as a charter school teacher

In high school I was a national level basketball player, and was even invited to Columbus, Ohio to represent California at the Junior Nationals.
