Special Education Teacher
I graduated from UCLA in 2013 with a B.A. in Applied Linguistics and a minor in French. I got my California preliminary education specialist teaching credential in mild/moderate disabilities and my M.A.Ed. from Alliant International University in 2018.
Writing/performing music, playing games, sewing/cosplaying, digital painting/drawing, writing, crafting, reading, listening to podcasts, knitting, watching TV and movies…anything where I can be creative, challenge my brain, or learn something new.
Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami and The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley.
Band, foreign languages
I directed a Philippine chorale and choreographed/taught Philippine folk dances in college. While in school, I studied four languages other than English. I played mellophone in the UCLA marching band, and I was in a McDonald’s commercial with them. My cover of a song from the podcast “Thrilling Adventure Hour” was an honorable mention on NPR’s list of “50 Wonderful Things From 2015.”
