Academy Teacher
I graduated with my BA in Musical Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City and received my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from SDSU. I worked one year in San Diego Unified as both a student teacher and substitute teacher. This is my third year teaching kindergarten at ORAA and I could not be more excited.
I am a bookworm, an avid skier, a cat lover, and a coffee aficionado.
As a child, my favorite books were: Harry Potter, Little House on the Prairie, The Westing Game, Nancy Drew, and any book involving horses. As an adult, my favorite books are: Gone With the Wind, Lord of the Rings, and The Time Traveler’s Wife.
Reading, it was my favorite subject as a student and is my favorite subject to teach.
I lived in New York City for four years, during which I was a musical theatre major and saw countless Broadway shows. When I was younger I rode horses competitively and competed throughout California and Arizona.
